1957 Sears Allstate Cruisaire 125
Before restoration

This 1957 Sears Allstate Cruisaire 125 (Vespa "handlebar" model) has just begun its resoration journey. Recent work includes complete disassembly for plastic media blasting. After this, the body, sidecowls and fender will be straightened for paint. The original paint was found (under 3 other coats of paint) to be a non-metallic olive green.

The engine, oddly enough, ran with the aid of a motorcycle handlebar and controls that were connected externally and sitting on the floor (all original cables were broken). The main work on the motor will be the replacement of all seals and gaskets.
